Dear Ted:
I'd love to hear some more dirt about what was going on with the cast of Lost in the past few years. Just how bad was the hated castmember and why didn't we hear anything about it before?
—Annie
Dear Lost in Translation:
What, you think the cast of Lost is one known for blabbing? Please. Damn tight lips. There are more secrets among them than about that damn island. Including: guess which castmember threw a party and invited everyone...but the producers! Hint: She's gorgeous.
Join four sisters as we read gossip columns and guess who the subject of blind items may be.

Mini Lost blind 7/22/10
In Ted's Bitch-Back on Thursday 7/22, he slid in a mini-blind about one Lost castmember.
Evangeline Lilly? Emilie DeRavin?
ReplyDeleteEvangeline Lilly.
ReplyDeleteI think maybe it was Yunjin Kim. In all the interviews I've seen with the producers and the cast (both separately and together, everyone seems really fond of Evangeline. Though Evangeline was known for throwing parties for the cast, Hrmm...
ReplyDeleteHmmm, could be any of the girls on the show. Not enough hints! My guess would be Claire (E. DeRavin).
ReplyDeleteAs far as the difficult cast member, I know the one rumor was that Michael (Harold Perrineau) was very difficult, and asked to be written off the show.
The guy who played Eko was difficult to manage too. He was originally supposed to be apart of the cast until the end, as in revealed to be a very important character to the overall plot, but started making too many demands and was killed off. He was also supposed to come back in the final season as a part of the sideways world but asked for way too much money.
ReplyDeleteAnd you can't forget Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond) allegedly got more than a little bit handsy with female crew members.
"Dear Ted:
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing the one castmember of Lost who threw the big party and didn't invite the producers was either Yun-jin Kim or Elizabeth Mitchell. I really hope it wasn't Evangeline Lilly or Emilie de Ravin, because I really like them. Can you at least tell me if I'm close?
—Sandripaty
Dear Lost Guess:
Babe, you just named almost all of the chicks on the island...how could you not be close?"
Emma I think Ted is saying the disliked castmember and the beautiful female castmember who invited everyone but the producers to the same party are different people! And I'd guess Evangeline Lilly for the non-invitation thingy. Several of the women are gorgeous, but she was marketed as the most beautiful one, so I go with her... No idea who was disliked...
ReplyDeleteI recently started reading blind vices. This site is amazing! It's interesting going back through all the posts to read what's gone on...so much craziness!
ReplyDeleteAs for this mini blind, it's Evangeline Lilly. She threw a thank you party for the cast and crew at Kualoa Ranch to show appreciation for their dedication and hard work. There was also an official finale wrap party in which the producers were in attendance.
darkufo.blogspot.com has TONS of Lost info. (Yes I'm a huge Lost geek LOL) He posted a blurb about this back in April after production wrapped.
I'm still searching his posts to find info about the difficult cast member...which could be several from what I've skimmed through so far. It's going to be fun to figure out.
Here's a letter about the hated castmember (not the one who threw the party) -
ReplyDelete"Dear Ted:
Did the hated member of the Lost cast make it through season six without being killed off?
—Feline Friendly Lostie
Dear Spoiler Alert:
Um, didn't everyone die in the last season?"
"Dear Ted:
ReplyDeleteI'm obsessed with the Lost B.V.! Were any of these characters with their "inner smoky-monster" nominated for any awards? And about the actress who did a party without the producers: every woman in that island was killed off! Can you give us any other hint?
—The Lost-Twi Girl
Dear Clued In:
Yes, this particular Lost star has been nommed for their work on the show. But...uh, the entire cast has been. "Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series" at the Screen Actors Guild, to be exact. As for that invite-list elitist, it was the gal the crew would peg last as a total snob."
"Dear Ted:
ReplyDeleteI know Lost castmembers always talk about how great and wonderful everyone and everything on the set was, but that seems a bit hard to believe. What was it really like for them working in Hawaii all those years? Any secret affairs between some of the actors, drug use or ego-trips etc.?
—Angela
Dear Hawaii Five-Oh No:
Less secret affairs or drug use (unless you count alcohol, of course, but we all know that seeing as the cast collectively racked up a handful of DUIs) and definitely more egos. Lots of egos, and occasionally clashing egos."
"Dear Ted:
ReplyDeleteWhy would the Lost female castmember throw a series-ending party with all the other castmembers but not invite the producers? Bad blood? After all, she wouldn't have been on Lost without them—a little gratitude would be fitting, no?
—A Lost Addict
Dear Island Getaway:
After six seasons, those castmembers had to put up with enough secrecy that none of them would have wanted the producers to come, except the suckups. She showed plenty of gratitude during the first few seasons, I'm sure."

ReplyDeleteDear Ted:
Any dish on Evangeline Lilly? She likes to stay out of the tabs, so it's hard to get any juicy gossip on her! Has she ever been a Blind Vice?
—Kate
Dear MasturKater:
More like a Blind Vice adjacent. But much love for E, we totally heart her!"
