@Kate16 It's not "spitting" on Noomi to do an American version of the film. It's simply a way for Hollywood to make a lot of money because yes, mainstream America generally doesn't watch foreign language films. Part of that is the issue with subtitles and part of it is that there are very few theaters outside large cities that carry such films.

Was your 'get over it' attack really needed?
And by the dictionary's definitions it is a re-make, which is simply 'to make again'.
How would you feel if right now someone released another version of Twilight? You'd feel it was distracting from the effort and love put into it by the first cast, right? But maybe you feel that not everyone deserves to have their work appreciated. That it's being made while the original actress is is still active is basically spitting on her.

i dont even know if i want to see because the original adaptation was so good...subtitles and all it was a great movie...im not sure the american version will do it justice...but yea i read about the Rooney Fincher thing and im not asking anyone if i can order food i dont care if your my boss or not you cant tell me i cant eat if im hungry...isnt there laws against that lol!

I am Doris used every single spell worker on the internet, spent untold amounts of money and discovered they are all fakes...i was the fool though; doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
